They did that for their earlier records for sure. You're not wrong about that. It was called hopelandic I believe, where it was half in icelandic and half gibberish and made up words. I think they stopped that after Takk, which was MOSTLY icelandic with a little bit of hopelandic thrown in.

I'd say Pianos Become The Teeth, Black Foxxes, and Brand New. I hear similarities to each of those bands at various points of the album.

 

I think it'll be right up your alley - I'd be a bit surprised if you don't love it!

 

I proposed to listen to it and @Nate_Johnson was already thinking of assigning it to me so it worked out well. Gotta take some notes for my review.

 

Yo last night @Larry David was hyping Valtari, and it IS one of the best albums of all time

 

No doubt about it. Probably my second favorite Sigur Ros record to ( ) which I'm listening to right now

Tommy has to be one of the more bizzare but intriguing people in Hollywood history right ? He has so much mystery behind him.

 

No I have not. What are they like?

 

I just listened to Sorority Noise's newest release, their "rearranged" versions of songs from their 2017 release. Then that made me go back and listen to their album from last year again (You're Not As ___ As You Think) and it's such a good album. Some of these lyrics are hitting me especially hard with the events I've had going on in my life the last couple of weeks. No Halo might be my favorite song by them.
