I've seen them live several times and the Disillusion songs are incredible live (along with every other one of their songs I've ever seen them play live)

I've only seen them once opening for Manchester Orchestra and it was all The Death Of Day EP songs

 

It's really good.

 

I'm lucky that the last time that I saw them (summer 2016) they played at a small venue that is about a two minute walk away from where I where I work in Akron. And they were with The Dear Hunter!!!!!!

 

Death of Day is so fucking good. One of my favorite EP ever tbh.

 

O'Brother stole the show at the DEP farewell tour which, is pretty hard to do, imo. But it was seriously one of the best live shows I've ever seen. With that said, Death of Day has always bored me.

 

So what do you guys think of meet and greet packages ? Do you think it's wrong to be charged to meet someone ? I've always been conflicted on it

 

It depends on the price. If it’s under 100, I think it’s fair for the extra stuff you get.

But when it’s 200-600 that’s ridiculous

 

Most times it's not really up the the artist/performer if they charge. It's up to the tour manager/publicist so it's hard to get upset at people for it imo

I personally have no interest in paying to meet someone. I suppose if I had more disposable income, I may feel differently. I think it's pretty cool meeting someone you look up to/appreciate if it happens organically though.

 

I was listening to this podcast of these dudes I like and they had to charge to do meet and greets at Comicon and it was not something they were happy about, but their network required them to do it so, not in this case at least
