Haha, I haven't watched it since but not because I don't want to just because it's not with me in my dorm room and I prefer to try something new if I'm able. The story was basically I was sick and was wondering how many times I could watch a favorite movie before I got tired of it. The Breakfast Club was short enough that it could get a lot of watches, mathematically. I did not get tired of it, just sleepy. GOAT
The December before last, my roommate and I decided to watch Elf every evening until Christmas. I think we made it to the 4th or something. We went back to it this past December though and it still held up, so that's comforting. Not all college mistakes follow you for life
Oh wow, so many. I watch Tombstone every now and then and just can't get enough of Val Kilmer in it. The whole cast totally rules. Also, the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has so much replay value. So many jokes were lost on me as a kid.
Before we moved, we cut the cable and there was nothing to watch (when I was 9), so I watched the VHS of this: 2-4 times per day for a month.
Hah, good to hear. I think that marathon approach might've had a different effect on me than what I did. That amounts to a lot more watches. Elf is good tho, good movies hold up
for me watching a movie multiple times doesn't necessarily mean quality, I've seen What's Your Number twice and Citizen Kane once movies I've probably seen the most Anchorman Zoolander Charlie's Angels Mean Girls Legally Blonde Clueless Austin Powers 2 Almost Famous and as a kid Space Jam We're Back A Dinosaur Story this isn't comprehensive at all
I rewatch a lot of movies. I have a tendency to return to media that gives me a certain type of joy or comfort. When I was younger, my cousins and I were notorious for rewatching the same movies over and over (She's the Man, 13 Going on 30, Mean Girls, etc) and I can watch most Disney movies from the late 80's-late 90's anytime, anywhere and I'll never get bored of them. I went through a period of time where I watched Red Eye almost every day (Cillian Murphy/Rachel McAdams obsession, idk I was 16 or so) and I've seen The Phantom of the Opera with Emmy Rossum too many times to count. Now that I'm older, I don't do this as often - I also only have time to consume a certain amount of media, so I usually like when it's new to me.
I think cable and home video plays a big part, given everyone seems to be of a similar age group. I'm seeing a lot of shared answers and movies I would list too
Other ones that crossed my mind: Wizard of Oz Charlie & The Chocolate Factory Halloween Is Grinch Night How the Grinch Stole Christmas (both) of course the Peanuts and 60s claymation holiday movies Fight Club Dumb & Dumber The Mask Wayne's World Aladdin Star Wars (original trilogy) Also if disney TV movies counts... Halloweentown & Brink! are ones I seen a million times lmao
Hello everyone, am a newbie here. As for the movie i have watched more than once. Yes, it's SPLIT. First watched it alone over the weekend then got to watch it with a friend who i recommended the movie.
