What is best way to store/play digital movies/tv shows?

    So Ill keep this short. Been getting into movies. Realize I don't want to have a lot of physical cases taking up space. Want to start building a library of movies digitally.

    I have a handful of Blue-rays that have digital copies and you can only do iTunes, Google Play or Vudu/Ultraviolet it seems like.

    Been looking stuff up all day and SURPRISINGLY theres not consensus. Each have their pros and cons. Their fans and their haters. iTunes you can play anywhere but obviously limits you to Apple products. Ultraviolet/Vudu gives you more freedom supposedly but you can't play if no internet (if i understand correctly).

    I discovered Disney Movies Anywhere which is awesome since it allows you to connect accounts and I wish every company was like this

    Basically anybody have any opinions/recommendations on this? would be appreciated.
