@Jason Tate How is Ignite's album? Didn't even know they released an album this year. (p.s. Tiger Army is killer - I need to listen to the new album!)
what's in my car disc changer (of which i should really swap out the music for more catchy, beat-driven stuff) is NOTHING "Tired of Tomorrow", Sturgill Simpson "Sailor's Guide", David Bazan "Monthly Series/Blanco", Gangrene "You Disgust Me," and Underworld "Underneath the radar"
Lot of letlive. in there, definitely been a recent obsession. Reaching back to early-mid 2000s with Rise Against and Strung Out and MCS. Recently eclipsed 100K plays on last.fm so that was a cool landmark. http://content.paddez.com/images/slickdtc-1month.jpg I think I may be doing this wrong. Posting from my phone probably isn't helping.
The Cinderella one cracks me up. I have it for my daughter, and it's the first song my music plays whenever I plug it into my car, so it gets tons of plays for about 15 seconds.
I like that Ignite album more than I think I expected. I found it right in the middle of the RNC (I too had forgotten they released an album this year) and it was like the perfect outlet of my feelings. Loud, aggressive, really good Zoli stuff. Definitely worth giving it a listen. And, yeah, that new Tiger Army has been dominating my playlist lately. It's just got this perfect vibe. "Happier Times" is one of my favorite songs of the year right now: I just keep playing it over and over again. This throw back sound is really in my wheelhouse this month.
Pretty satisfied with my list (Not that punk goes crunk, though. Don't know how that managed to get in there)
I'm at least an entire year behind on my list on rateyourmusic.com if you can't tell. Really been into U.S. Royalty and Lydia lately.
So cool! I've bee obsessed with last.fm forever. This seems like a pretty typical 6 months: http://content.paddez.com/images/kbringel-6month.jpg
I don't trust this. pretty sure this would've looked the exact same for me in 2008. also, I'm 95% sure I haven't listened to As I Lay Dying since 2008.
I just decided to sign up for last.fm since this looked cool but I noticed it doesn't support scrobbling for apple music. I looked online and there seems to be two choices of cloudscrob and quietscrob. Any recommendations on what to use?
Can't make a collage but I've been doing some new and old... New Blink New Descendents M83 - Junk LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening Beatles - Sgt. Pepper and White Album Starflyer 59 - Slow Ramones - Rocket To Russia Lewis Del Mar - EP Radiohead - new album and old ones too Less Than Jake - Hello Rockview and Losing Streak
I can't make the cool graphic because my scrobbler only sometimes decides to work, and looks like it hasn't worked since mid June, but I've been listening to Hellions, Anarbor, Billy Talent and The Bouncing Souls
