What Happened To Farewell?

Has anyone heard any updates from them? Or what happened with the band? Last I heard, they were working on their follow up to Run It Up the Flagpole, but it's been...three years now, I think.

Anyone know what's up with them? Marshall was one of the nicest, most positive dudes I met in the scene back in the day. Always wished him well.

 

Seriously remember jamming these back in the day a lot.

 

Hahaha yeah I loved them. Saw them a few times when they were local and once for the first full length. Always thought they had something.

 

I imagine they're 100% done, even though there were definitely two or three separate occasions where they said they were writing/making a new album. Wil plays in the band Failure Anthem now and they're doing pretty well.

 

Awww that's a bummer. I figured at this point they were probably finished, was just kind of curious what happened. I saw on their facebook they posted a soundcloud clip in 2014, but that's about it.

According to Wiki, it appears Wil has left Failure Anthem as of this year. So I guess there's always hope of something haha I'll do some more digging.

Isn't this supposed to be fun was one of my favorite records in high school.

I'm not getting my hopes up though.

 

They're playing songs from the EP and first record at this reunion show. Should be fun!

 

It's cool that they're making a comeback. Used to jam their first album a lot in college.
