Now I'm working on getting my Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of pa while working as an assistant administrator. Love my job.
Don't you have to be certified as a pharm tech to get a job as a pharm tech? Or does it depend on the state you live in? Just curious since you mentioned it didn't pertain to your studies. I've tried to get a hospital job where I live and pretty much everything you have to have a certification or license (and have experience).
States regulate pharmacy technicians differently, but employers can require certification. I already had a certification because I worked in a retail pharmacy before, and I've kept it up to date because it would be such a pain to let it lapse and have to renew it. The certification isn't hard though. You go through PTCB and just study up, then sign up for the test. I think they have study materials on their website. I bought a studybook from Amazon I think (just make sure it's up to date).
Assistant Vice President/Quality Assurance Supervisor at a bank. Just started this position last month after 6 years of working at a branch as a teller manager. Feels cool to say "Assistant Vice President" but so far I've just had to sit here checking the work of my employees using excel while listening to my iPod. Also since I manage remotely from NJ, I get paid to fly to my team in South Carolina every month.
TD. Much more prominent in the northeast, but we have a few office buildings around the Lexington/Columbia area.
I've only been down there once so far, I stayed in a Hilton right by the USC Columbia. It's a nice little area down there. Most buildings are made of brick (even the McDonalds lol) so that made it look pretty nice.
Did a paid internship for Edison as a distribution planner. Incredibly boring job but it paid well. Now I'm working in marketing and development for a startup app, which I'm pretty excited about. If it takes off it would be a huuuge jumpstart for me. I'd be able to afford to start my own company which would be sick.
I'm a full time student, and I work part time at the YMCA as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor. I also work at my school's cafe, which is mainly just standing around munching on food. Not a bad gig.
i had a girl i know from school reached out to me about working in fashion (although its athletic, sport and athleisure) photography. Shes the head photographer and was looking for someone to fill a position. its an in house photo assisting and editing gig and the fact that she contacted me made me really hopeful. i work in high volume, product photography now, which isn't bad but i have to work very fast and efficiently with little creative input. its mostly technical and problem solving. they do some really elaborate lookbooks so i'm hoping to make the transition. plus i considerably much more prefer people than stuff.
So, I'm a volunteer EMT in my community *yes I take the SAME course/test as a paid*. A very small community. I had to take my Grandpa in today for a suspected stroke. I did really well. Was super composed...but man. My aunt. We do not get along. And she literally rolled her eyes at me when I (and my husband who she also hates. shes a bitter old bitch) walked in the door. I wanted to scream...IM HERE TO HELP!. He literally laid on the floor today for six+ hours. I just wanted to be like "be GLAD! there are people around today to help!" It made me so mad but I had to be professional. And be composed enough to take care of my patient, no matter who he is.
Stories I've heard from a close friend who is an EMT lead me to believe y'all deal with a lot so thank you and I wish your grandpa the best.
atm I'm a shift leader/manager for a store. Nothing too grand or too lame, for something that's really just means to an end goal it's not so bad.

I have worked for Clarks www.clarksusa.com for 3 years now. I am in Customer Service, in the consumer services department. I answer phone calls, emails and I am also the assistant trainer to new employees. I swear some days the only think keeping me sane is the crazy discount I get on shoes
I had gotten hired on at an Urgent Care as front office back in November. Currently on leave from the hospitalization, and I cannot wait to go back! (though it may be close to 2 months) I miss it there very much. I actually have to stop in to the medical group next door tomorrow for an appointment so I'm super excited I get to check in on my work peeps.
