    hey you lil piss baby

Weyes Blood is like the opposite of Chorus fodder, especially on a day where Pup released a new album lol

I picked up the record (first one I've bought in like a year) and going to give it a first spin tonight or tomorrow when I set my player up. Can't wait.

Really want to check out the new PUP album based on the attention it's getting around the web but I generally hate pop-punk so I don't want to spoil anyone's fun

Wow that's quite the back to back. "Crushing" is still probably my AOTY. This is seems like it won't be too far behind with more listens.

    Happy early beeday!!

Incredible album. I wish I was writing an album review but I just have too much on my plate

@Drew Beringer have you listened to this? You’d probably love it

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

"Movies" is fucking absolutely unbelievable, I wish I liked the rest even close to as much

I haven’t seen the movie in forever and a half but for some reason Picture Me Better reminds me of the song at the end of The Land Before Time and that is absolutely a good thing

The opening of "Everyday" tricks me into thinking I'm listening to the RENT soundtrack every single time.

Also, this AND Julia Jacklin both sold out here before I could afford to grab a ticket. Guess I'll be watching Stubhub/Facebook for the next six weeks.

I’m finding this just on repeat tbh.

Also, parts of Andromeda remind me of Selena??

Movies reminds me of Take a bow by Muse a little bit haha I still need to listen to this in full. Have only heard Movies so far.

Sidenote: Digging the avatar @zmtr. Great record.

Almost as bad as the Falling Up comparisons in the OWEL thread. *shudder*

The synths are muse like so it's not a bad comparison also black holes and revelations ain't a bad record so I stand by what I said

Yea. I love Pearl Jam but it’s not lost on me how many bad bands they spawned (like every single cock rock band). Influence is influence. Similarities are similarities.

I had a friend that would deny any band she like sounded like any band she didn’t like because....I don’t know? Was really weird.

Also have a relative that refuses to call any music she likes “Country”. Calls Will Nelson (maybe one of the 5 most recognizable/important country artists ever), who she loves, “folk” because identity politics. She doesn’t ant to be associated with liking country music. It’s mind numbing. I mean country is a descendant of folk, and genre semantics can be boring, but when someone draws such a hard line I can’t help but get annoyed.
