oh this makes me feel all tingly

saw them both times in NY and knew what to expect, but some of the tracks they didn’t release early are more interesting than I expected

 

Fuck, Domino Records has cancelled my pre-order of the vinyl without saying anything. WTF happened here?

was it the clear one with bonus 7"? split exclusive between them and the band's store, and Domino have sold theirs out. be quick!

listened once, ordered the album, listened again and I'm glad I did because this band is probably going supernova.

 

On first listen last night, I was going to comment that some of the tracks I'm hearing at studio quality for the first time are missing some of the energy and drive I appreciated when they were played live.

On second spin this morning, I'm feeling fine about it and they make total sense the way they're mixed.

The sarcasm throughout is ace, but "Loving You" having such a tender sound makes it sooo brutal. I love it.
