Yeah, it’s a surprising step up from their (great) debut.

 

Kojima always has great music taste

 

One time through and nothing as immediate as "Chaise Lounge" or "Wet Dream" but still a worthy follow-up and will grow on me. I like how they've expanded their sound in both directions.

 

Can't wait to finish work and listen to this. The singles have continued to grow on me non stop.

Prob my favorite song as well. Debut was pretty good, but this is a level up in just about every way. One of the most favorable first listens to an album I’ve had all year so far.

Huge step up for them imo! That run from Mangetout through Pillow Talk is unreal

This is really fucking good. I had only ever heard Chaise Longue and clips of Catch These Fists and I’m pretty blown away by my first listen. The first three tracks, Pillow Talk, and Mangetout are my early standouts.

 

Closing track rules too. Jennifer’s Body reminds me of The Strokes.
