This is for anyone who started the new eps... I haven't watched First Day since the week it came out, do I need a rewatch because I know some characters who were introduced in that came back. Or is it fine if I've already seen the movie a hundred times?

First episode is kinda a slow burn. Hoping it picks up.

I'm in the same boat as you so I decided to rewatch First Day in preparation. I still have the last two episodes to finish, and I haven't watched any of 10 Years Later yet, but I think you'll be okay without a rewatch. Especially if you're ultra familiar with the film.

There are a few different instances of it.

Victor just saying "I work at a bar..." then abruptly turning around and leaving killed me.

Man, this season was not great. It had some great moments, but the overarching plots were not good. The nanny plot and can of vegetables were great early on. The Reagan stuff sucksssss.

  14. It's already been used way too much and I just started the fourth episode.

Yeah, this is nowhere near as good as First Day of Camp. I'd say it was on par with the movie.

It's got some good bits and jokes throughout, but I would completely say the Reagan stuff ruins it, even though it doesn't have a terrible payoff. Episode 7 is soooooo bad overall.

the only humor that whole plotline provided was

McKinley and Adam Scott's terror at what they did and the part where everyone starts questioning how none of the plot makes sense

Ouch. I just finished my rewatch of First Day at Camp, and while it's good, the movie is WAY better. I'm still excited for 10 Years Later, but I'm a little bummed by the response so far.

This was a really fun watch but I don't think it will have the same rewatchability as the movie and the First Day. I did really like the last episode though with the pure lunacy of it.

Overall not great but still better than it should be. Pretty much the slogan for 2017 if you ask me.
