Am I the only one utterly bored by this? I want to be in on the hype but it's just not entertaining even with the incredible production and cast. Plus the flashbacks to previous movies and shows that have done this are too frequent.
Well, she can't be in two places at once, so no? Also the actress that plays the robber is Ingrid Berdal.
Haven't watched the second episode yet but I thought it was pretty obvious Ed Harris's character is a robot when he told Wood's character how to behave for "them." He just seems like a host who's role has never changed (like how the dad was the sheriff for a bit, etc) and has slowly evolved to realize what the park is Edit: realize later with the comment that she's the oldest host they have, that maybe he's just been there so long he knows what everyone's supposed to do
I mean I went in assuming he was a host because of the previous subject matter and certainly thought so while watching throughout. That interview just threw me off, but maybe that's what they were trying to do.
The second episode was fantastic. I can't get over how well this all turned out, after so many production issues and being a remake of a cult classic film and all. Nolan and Joy's writing is just superb, the cast is incredible, and the production value is off the charts. This could become one of my favorite series on television if they keep up this level of quality through the end of this season, right up there with Mr. Robot, Fargo, and Better Call Saul.
Ahh thank you, I heard it and knew it was a Radiohead song but couldn't think of the title and then I forgot to actually go through my Radiohead tracks to figure it out.
My girlfriend and I both think that the little boy Ford walks with in the desert is a boy host version of himself he created with memories of his own that he's uploaded to it, and that's the real motive for management behind the scenes.
And I chalk up the piano playing modern songs as a way to remind the guests that this all isn't real.
The creative guy alludes to it when he's talking to the female executive outside in the first episode. How he knows that this technology isn't used to gratify old slobs or whatever he says. She confirms that's there's what the guests think of the park, what the employees think of the park, and what the executives truly see with the park and technology. He hasn't figured it out yet but she confirms that there's ulterior motives.
