Yeah this was good. Don't know how the rest of the season will go, but happy I decided to watch at this point. I'm def on team Meave...not sure what Bernard is gonna do now.
I was very “meh” on this season until now. This show does this to me every f*cking season though. So infuriating.
just caught up on the first four episodes. this show is somehow intriguing yet not worth it every single time. aaron paul is definitely saving this one for me thus far, love his character.
Maybe it’s because I wasn’t a BB fan but Jesse hasn’t done dick for me. Just a puppy amidst two badass woman lol
Am I the only one finding it hard to reconcile that they break out of westworld only to land in this other, significantly larger cluster fuck? It makes everything that came before seem so unimportant.
I still don’t know if I like the turn this show has taken with Dolores storyline. Whatever problems I had with it, I think I liked everything better within the parks. This feels like a totally different show now lol.
Yeah I agree that I still liked the park storylines, the hosts figuring things out, MiB, etc. At least glad we got some background on Serac tonight. Feels like they don’t quite know what to do with Bernard this season.
Queuing up The Shining was a weird touch. I get that it was the intention, but this episode felt all over the place. I like the direction they've taken Dolores in. It makes sense given everything she's been through. Really interested to see how her and Maeve clash. I agree it feels like Bernard is getting slightly lost in the shuffle this season, which is a shame. Hopefully he gets more in these last few episodes.
i admire what this show is trying to do but just feels like it's not being executed by the right people. oh well still somewhat enjoyable
I equal parts like and hate how direct the story telling is lol also - only 8 this season? Seems like shit is just getting started. Bah! Maeve better be in all three.
I had to quit midway through season 2 because the dialogue had just gotten so bad. Just gritty, slow one-liner after gritty, slow one-liner. Is it better this season?
Sorry, haven't been as active on Chorus the past few days so I missed the responses. But ya they used the theme from The Shining during the beach scene. It's one of my favorite movies plus I recently rewatched it, so I recognized it immediately. I thought it was cool at first but didn't really get how it tied into the actual scene, so it left me a bit confused.
