I think I'm also the only one who actively follows this show of the people I know personally. I always ask if people watch it and typically get an answer of "I tried watching it, but I couldn't get into it" or "I watched season one....it was ok".
It's pretty cool that the overarching story of this season is that the humans are trying to work towards immortality while the hosts are essentially working towards not being immortal. I'm still not all that clear on the timelines but I'm guessing that the shot of the lake with all of the host bodies from the premiere means that the hosts are eventually successful in ditching their bodies and making it out of Delos.
This show is fucking unreal. Just love the tone so much and after every episode i feel like I just watched an epic movie. Love it
I love this show. So much exposition and plot in that last episode ha. It felt like what the show has been building up to all season while transitioning into the final stretch of the season. Next ep seems to be smaller scale and more focused, so it'll be interesting to see how it plays into the bigger picture.
I’m back onboard after the last couple of episodes. Granted I am 100% sure I have no idea what actually happened in the last episode.
Yeah, Sunday's episode was 10x better than the prior two weeks. This season is actually going by pretty fast. Only three more episodes left.
I'm coming back around on this season as well, but that terrible battle sequence in E3 will forever hold it back from being "great" for me.
Not sure how this ep will be received, but might be my favorite of the series. Definitely the season. Packs an emotional punch.
I really liked this one. Incredible performance. The scene where he finds Aohana’s(?) body was heartbreaking. A nice change of pace from the shoot em up of last week.
same, its one of the first times I woke up the next day and thought, I really want to watch that again.
Haven't watched yet, but I saw Rolling Stone said it was far and away the best episode of the entire series. Interesting.
This episode did an amazing job of actually making you care about the hosts and their journey. Seeing how upset he got when he realized they were robbing everyone of their memories was heartbreaking. It was also cool to see how the maze symbol actually started appearing everywhere in the park.
Man in Black: Nothing's real here. It's all a game. Grace: Nothing's real here except my dad; he's a real idiot. Bernard: Nothing's real here, not even me, and especially not Ford, except he's kind of sort of very real somehow? Hale: Nothing's real here except us. We don't want to be real, either. Ake: Nothing's real here except our memories; we must leave in order to protect them. Maeve: Nothing's real here except our memories; we must leave with our loved ones. Dolores: Nothing's real here; we must leave and burn everything in our path. Teddy: Dolores is hot.
