I did the same thing, the scene was so dark I couldn't say with 100% certainty it was him. I thought last nights episode was pretty cool. Also made me realize my girlfriend does not remember season 1 at all.
I'm pretty surprised that many of you thought last night's show was boring. I thought it may have been one of the more interesting episodes of the series thus far. It's the most background information we've gotten so far about how the park came about and the potential of it.
I thought last night's episode was fine. I actually liked the background stuff. I thought seeing Logan's reaction to the hosts for the first time was cool. Normally everyone is always so "ho hum these are robots no big deal" that it was cool for someone to kinda lose their shit.
I thought that ep was beautiful. Great work from Vincenzo Natali, who did some great Hannibal eps and one of my fav eps from S1 of this show. I liked getting all this background material and insight related to Dolores and William. I am extremely here for Dolores on her war path. I chuckled at "Fuck you, Robert."
Maybe it's just because I gave this show a break, but I really enjoyed the last couple episodes. I started to feel like everything was pretty scattered last season but now I'm hooked again.
Loved the start to the season so far. I'm also really glad Jimmi Simpson is still going to be a big part of this season it looks like
I think it credited him and Ben Barnes as guest stars, right? So they unfortunately may not be around that much. But I'll take what of them I can get.
I was worried we'd get little to no Jimmi this year, but by the looks of things, he'll probably still be a pretty big piece considering he seems to be the most interested in growing and investing in the park. I think that will continue to be a big timeline/story piece of this season. Between Unsolved and Westworld, Jimmi is becoming my favorite actor on TV in recent years.
It is pretty amazing that he can easily play the nice, naive guy turned anti-hero, but then also go and be a convincing asshole boss (sort of) in Black Mirror and a milk-drinking inbreeder in Sunny.
