i'm definitely intrigued at this point. the one thing i think they really need to do is get people invested in other characters somehow
Decent premiere. Pretty straightforward, which I can appreciate. I feel like I had so many questions after S1Ep1 ha. Seeing Dolores wreak havoc is fun/terrifying.
Quite liked this premiere. A lot more than the Season 1 premier, which i'm glad I stuck because this show is awesome. It's cool that they have found their footing, it seems, and are catching the audiences awaiting GoT.
I watched that 6 minute recap of the first season and it made me realize how bad my memory must be or how little I cared about it in the first place because I forgot a lot of the plot and turns. Then I watched the premiere and it felt like a chore. Not sure if this show is for me now.
I'm very confused as to why Bernard is so confused. Am I forgetting something that happened to him at the end of Season 1?
Right I remembered that. Are we to assume he's just damaged and isn't recalling current events properly? He seems to be completely in the dark about most of what is happening. Everything except for the fact that he knows he's a host.
He was leaking some pretty weird fluid in the premiere so assume it's probably connected. No one really no ones the answer yet
Gotcha. That answer works fine for me cause he was making me feel like there was something I missed. Really curious as to what he meant by "I killed them" when they found the body of water and dead hosts.
Beach Bernard looks like a new version, it’s all off. Who knows if it’s even reality honestly ha. He finishes Karl Strand’s sentence “...less than ideal” and it’s like he’s going through some deja vu. Apparently some of the hosts who were executed by security are slightly different in a few scenes. Reddit is up all in it as per usual
You assume the Bernard that was found on the beach is the Bernard you know. There's a lot going on in that beach scene. Maybe they set Bernard on a loop and Delos is trying to extract information from Bernard about what happened. No suicide scar on right temple. No offers of medical or food aid to Bernard. Or even a change of clothes, which are different than what he is wearing in the others scenes. Everyone is constantly asking him for help/explanation/information. Stubbs conveniently shows up to be a calming familiar face. Champagne glass from the party 2 weeks ago washes on shore with Bernard. It's a different glass than the ones used at the party. Is it actually two weeks later? Who knows. Multiple views of host executions similar to when Dolores is looping in S1. They showed us host brains could essentially be switched in this episode. New Bernard body? Leaky post massacre Bernard was repaired? Someone else was switched into Bernard? Assume nothing!
Really liked the episode except for the man in black stuff; just feels like it doesn’t contribute anything.
I was just thrilled to see Jimmi Simpson again! And I thought that was Gus, pulled up IMDB during the show but he’s not credited, at least wasn’t an hour ago.
