I wish there was a show I enjoyed even half as much as this. Is 'The Leftovers' any good? Oh well guess I'll rewatch The Wire/The Sops for the 100th time.
Leftovers Season 1 was really great, but had mixed critical acclaim and overall reactions. Season 2 was even better than S1 and had amazing reviews everywhere
I'll immediately bond with anyone who likes the Leftovers because I never have anyone to discuss it with outside of this site. HBO never really tried to pull in more viewers.
the buzz is definitely a trillion times higher for this show. i dont really know anyone that watched leftovers...especially season 2 (which was amazing)
Even if you dont love season 1 I beg you to stick it out to season 2. One of the best seasons of television I've ever watched.
Ok, I need to rewatch this series. This may be a stupid question, but it's really bothering me. How were the hosts suddenly able to hurt the guests there at the end?
Loved the show. Sure it has faults but I don't think I've been this attached to a show/theories in a while, so it was a fun ride and looking forward to season 2. Also too lazy to go back up on mobile, but someone said this show was why they liked weekly serialization, and I agree completely.
this is unclear. the popular running theory is that ford programmed it into them, but it's just one of the many things the show handled clumsily.
I thought it was clear that Ford built code into them to, through pain and suffering, become sentient and that part of that is being able to hurt people. How is that not clear?
You are the goldilocks of Westworld watchers. Reveal is too heavy-handed or obvious: HATE. Reveal is too little, too mysterious, or leaves open ended questions: HATE. You're never satisfied

Definitely not going to discuss this show with you, haha. Total waste of my time and energy. Thanks for the offer however.
