Really loved this episode and am thrilled they took care of the Bernard being a robot "twist" out of the way. Shocked at the death though. I love the show.
i forgot there was a thread here for it already, just posted up over there to get everyone stoked up on it
"When are we." I feel you Dolores! I mean, we saw glimpses of at least 4 time periods in just this episode. The host with Teddy and MiB is the same one that greeted William, right? That MiB is surprised they didn't retire by now. Liked the bits of House of the Rising Sun and Back to Black in this ep. We only said goodbye with words I died a hundred times You go back to her And I go back to black
Fuck this is getting out of hand. I counted like 5 different timelines they jumped between here. The one with MIB and Teddy, Maev's timeline, Dolores and William, Bernard killing Theresa, the writer guy with Charlotte where he's writing for the Wyatt storyline and in the background you see the horned dude that teddy kills on a screen (unless this and the Bernard one are at the same time possibly?)Like which of these would be the furthest into the past and which is the future? I'm lead to believe either Maev's timeline or the MIB, Teddy, Wyatt timelines is the most distant future in all of this.
Some of the "timelines" were just simply flashbacks, not like a continuing storyline, but yeah the episode went to many time periods
Earliest Timeline: Bernard kills Theresa, the Wyatt storyline is being implemented. Middle: Man in black kills Maeve and her daughter; begins quest to unravel "the maze" Latest: Maeve is conscious. Still not sure where william and dolores fit, probably between a and b.
we know theresa and bernard is one of the later timelines because of theresa's interactions with simon, little hemsworth, and tessa thompson
nah, can't be. if the wyatt storyline is being implemented in bernard's murder timeline, then everything where wyatt is mentioned has to be later (MIB's quest) and we know that's either simulataneous as Maeve's consciousness or prior, because it's been a year since he killed her and her daughter and forced her into the madame role. gotta be early.
hmm. did he say it's only been a year last night since that? i must have missed that, i figured it was relatively recent since it was still ed harris without deaging technology, but i figured it was at least a few years back also, regardless, the william + dolores timeline is definitely the earliest
yeah pretty sure he said to theodore "a year ago i came back" when discussing whether doing something evil would make him feel anything.
do not believe so. it's my belief that will occur in the finale. also the earliest early timeline are the interviews arnold/bernard has with delores
do we think that wyatt is who was actually shown in teddy's flashbacks (seemed fairly unremarkable) or do we think that he will be someone we already know?
one of my friends just mentioned that to me, would be interesting. i was originally thinking, since the dude in the memory ford uploaded for teddy looks somewhat like him, that it could possibly be OG Delores' dad, given that simon and charlotte are shown tinkering with him now
people are saying the flash of a memory that bernard had of choking someone was elsie. makes sense, didn't catch that it was her though
Yeah i saw on like av club or something that it was elsie, which i didnt realize. also kind of interesting that bernard is clearly experiencing the same kind of unintended memory recall that is affecting the other hosts
