In that article I posted a page or so back, the showrunners say that it would be "highly unlikely" that we even see Arnold or a physical representation of. Obviously that's not to say we won't see him, I was just relaying what they said on the topic in case you didn't read it.
I haven't seen the original movie in more than 10 years. For those familiar with it is the show closer to the source material more than just "amusement park robots turn against humans"?
these are the same types of people that say miranda tate isn't talia al ghul and john harrison isn't khan haha
I watched the film at the weekend so it's pretty fresh in my mind. From the 3 episodes so far it seems that's about all it's got in common with it, still I'm really enjoying the series and excited to see where it goes.
Enjoying this far more than I thought I would. I've only started the 2nd episode just now and assume it's been discussed already, but anyone notice the modern saloon music? 1st episode was Black Hole Sun and 2nd episode was No Surprises by Radiohead. Kinda cool.
losing interest in this with each week. reminds me a lot of lost where the questions are more important than the plot or characters themselves.
Funny I was about to say that this lacks the character depth of lost. That what makes sci-fi shows hit or miss for me
But it's solid so far. A lot of shows have lull periods within episode 3-6. It always happens. Honestly while I have questions about specifics I'm more intrigued if where it's going
I was enamored with this show for the first three episodes, but the fourth made me scratch my head too hard to enjoy it. Too many threads, too many questions, and the overall structure of this one felt decidedly disjointed. And the ending was a bit too bombastic for me to truly drive home the point it was going for. I hope next week's picks up the ball again.
Wow, a lot more explained in this ep. I feel like I can re-watch the first episodes with more understanding and less confusion now. Might do that. Love when Elsie acts basically like an audience surrogate, like last week when she was bewildered as to why nobody was questioning the behavior of the stray host and this ep when she sees the body being carted off to the incinerator and is all, "oh fuck this."
I really wasn't feeling this all that much until the last couple of episodes. Finally seems to be opening up a bit.
im not in LOVE with the show at this point...and i dont even know if im fully entertained either.... but i am 100% intrigued if that makes any sense.
