It's not surprising a lot of people have developed strong opinions on the matter, and nobody in good faith could argue it's going successfully (thus far). Musk himself has a legion of fans and critics alike, and that's just the cost of maintaining the profile he's craved for years now. And I'd add, I've never labeled Musk a "Republican" or a "Democrat" - nor do I care about that seeing as I'm not even American and most countries on earth have more than 2 political parties...
