It was “censored” in that the most malicious right wing fevre dreams about what the laptop was were deleted for being the disinformation that they were. It eventually became apparent that the laptop did actually exist but didn’t prove much beyond Hunter Biden being a cracked out failson. Which was reported on plenty in the media, and all over Twitter and elsewhere. But it was a blatant attempt by bad actors to use stolen property (which they then later planted files on to try to make it more incriminating) for political gain…and you think the ethical, “down the middle” thing to do here was let it spread unabated?

So is he more concerned by free speech or paid advertising? I'm confused. It's almost like intentionally destabilising a giant platform has scared the business world about the stability of that platform....It's not always a good thing to be a disruptive force.

All social media is a poison mostly. And it’s a negative thing for democracy because only the loudest voices are amplified. The sooner this place both eats shit AND stops being a source of truth for the media, the better the world will be.
