They'd obviously meant with their point that he'd used his inherited wealth to accumulate assets and tech IP to advance his empire and now receives credit from people for the innovation of others. Does that understate his intellectual contribution to his empire? Likely. But clearly wasn't suggesting only low-income people can be credited as smart.

Twitter was never able to turn a profit before, but was entirely politicized. Now it will be able to pay its own bills under private ownership, while attempting to be an an actual open public space. A nominal fee anyone can pay for a premium badge is much better than a selective program of opinion weighting. Not perfect, but better.

Let's wait for it to pay its own bills before we credit him for it paying its own bills. And it'll never be an actual open public space if people say things semi-anonymously that they'd never dare say in an actual public space. People complain that it's a modern problem that people are being held accountable for what they say on social media, when its only in modern times there was even a medium to say despicable stuff that previously was said in the privacy of their dining room or at a Klan meeting. Let's be clear, there's nothing left or right with what I just typed either - a death threat is a death thread no matter who levels it, but it's sure a lot easier to deliver one now that it ever has been - and that's the inherent problem in all of this.
