L.A. Girlz top 3 Weez for me

 

Yeah I basically only jam Byzantine and Living In LA from this album

 

They've definitely made lower lows, but as a whole The Black Album was incredibly forgettable.
Only songs I'd keep on if they popped up on shuffle are Can't Knock the Hustle and High as a Kite.

 

I forgot this even came out this year

 

I like this album, the first half in particular. I've really come around to Pacific Daydream being one of my favorites though.

 

If, instead of PD and Black, they had given us a single album that was just:

Feels Like Summer
QB Blitz
La Mancha Screwjob
Any Friend of Diane’s
Can’t Knock the Hustle
Zombie Bastards
Living in LA
High as a Kite
Piece of Cake
I’m Just Being Honest

we’d be having a very different conversation right now, I think.

 

I like I'm just being honest from the black album and thats about it I'm afraid.

 

Pretty good list. I really like Byzantine and California Snow too and would add it to mine though

 

I still don't really like "I'm Just Being Honest." Def prefer "Byzantine"

Rivers posted on Snapchat the other day asking if anyone had any ideas for the Van Weezer (the alleged hard rock/hair metal album they're working on) album art so we might actually be getting yet another new album soon

 

Just have them all dressed in 80s hair metal cosplay against a bright pink background.

Yeah the Black Album is near the bottom for me

 

It hasn’t lasted well for me. Has a few great songs but just not nearly the staying power of white EWBAITE Pinkerton or blue.

 

I honestly closed the tab when I read this but I’ll probably work up the courage to do it eventually

lol man... Rivers reminds me a lot of Eddie Murphy but for music. However, Dolemite Is My Name looks great and Coming To America 2 could actually be good, so maybe there is hope.
