I doubt it was any more violent than when Jake Sinclair pinned Rivers to the ground and delivered rib shots until he agreed to record the guitar and vocals for Do You Wanna Get High.

Nothing like being away from the internet for a bit and checking back in to see the chorus dot fm thread for the new Weezer album has grown by 100+ posts in four hours. Weezer fans love the discourse arguably more than the music!

That last part is true for 4 out of every 5 Weezer albums.

    Well, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy

It’s a general rule of thumb that a Weezer thread will mostly be shitposting

Any other band in the world has this lopsided discography and I would have checked out completely in 2005. Can’t believe I haven’t loved a Weezer record since Pinkerton and here I am.

Who else is rocking this kind of bananas no logic discography with random quality spikes? There are about 40 Guided by Voices albums I haven’t heard but I feel like their fans have a somewhat similar relationship to their ongoing discography,

I’ve kind of checked out on GBV. They’re drooling so many albums so quickly, I can’t keep up

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

it's so fucking good, one of his best choruses. hope it doesn't get the Blue Dream treatment on the album lmao
