Weezer is so back

 

Hate to be cynical because it's a great inclusion, but have to wonder if the sudden Wednesday collab is because of the "Go Away" resurgence and Best Coast being on that track.

 

Admittedly, I had the same thought

 

I think this song kinda sucks, but whatever. No one hates Weezer like Weezer fans.

 

Crush 100% told them to do another female vocalist collab lmao I'd bet a paycheck on it

thankfully the song rips, Karly could have had an even bigger part maybe

I feel like they cleaned up the production a lot ?

 

Yeah the old second verse was better. This is alright, but the new second verse feels like a last minute addition.

Yeah I hate it say it because I dig Wednesday and I really like Karly as a vocalist, but I’m not really into this updated version. Her part just seems kind of forced. I prefer the original version.

Definitely feels like the label made them do it

 

I like the new verse but also liked the old verse, and I preferred the raw production so the demo version wins for me

 

I haven't been paying much attention, what is "the old version," was it leaked or something?

 

So pretentious to just assume this album will sell 500k

 

There’s a version that leaked a few weeks ago sans Wednesday. The second verse had completely different lyrics and was all sung by Rivers

 

My first thought when I saw the title confirmed was “huh, but what if this actually goes gold?”

 

What if it goes platinum?

 

Then that would be a miracle
