The band does not curb Rivers at all. The only one who can force Rivers to be good is Jake Sinclair and it’s a thankless job and I don’t blame him for not wanting to spend his adult life pinning Rivers down on the ground and not letting him go until he agrees to record the guitar parts in a non-annoying way.
Even when there are co-writers and collaborators it seems like Weezer is still located directly in the center of Cuomoville.
