Weezer - Weezer (Gold Album) [August 21, 2026] Album • Page 12

  1. It's fine but again, it feels like Rivers programmed a computer to write a new song based on Blue and Green and then sanded all of the edges off

  2. "Brave New World" and "Smart Girls" really stink

    OMG

I was going through the Weezer tracks in my iTunes and I remembered that back when Raditude came out, I had bought the "iTunes Pass" for it, where they sent bonus tracks and videos in the weeks leading up to and after the album's release. This was the track from week 6.

This or the Jacked Up remix is the funniest thing they’ve ever done

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

the Brain Stew cover from that EP is the best thing from the whole Raditude era

I’d never heard this cover but just searched for it on YouTube and this performance is soooo good. Including Rivers’ outfit.

Omg I forgot this was the era where Pat was playing guitar

  10. I think they did "Karma Police" right around the same time

Can’t believe I’m 4 pages too late to talk about Beverly Hills being good but also the finnerty take being compelling (like his explanation of why it’s bad. Amazing video obviously)

hottest take I’ve got right now: the “looooove you” backing vocals in my best friend are better than anything on some entire =w= albums

The “what if Beverly Hills was in Blue?” version on Youtube is genuinely great.

Sounds like Cake. The final version should've been closer to this demo.

You know I can’t believe Weezer has a Christmas cover EP and Rivers didn’t cover “Christmas Shoes”

He would’ve done a killer job with “Christmas Wrapping”.

Insane that I was off the site for a few days and this thread already has 7 pages lol

Singles for the album are good so far and I think it's so cool that Kenny Beats produced the album, his career arc has been fascinating to watch
