Number 3 in a year where I did not revisit good weezer all that much lol. Doesn't feel totally accurate but I did give both new albums a fair amount of listens. VW excellent running album, too.
They were no No. 1 and All My Favorite Songs was my No. 1. that said, I probably haven’t listened to Weezer on Spotify in at least 5 months.
Yeah I was shocked they were in my top five tbh, I listened to OK Human a lot.but not THAT much. I did shuffle them a lot while mowing, though.
I was surprised they were my number 1 in my Apple Music replay, but then I remembered that I added like 1000 new songs by them this year.
I didn't listen to either album that much, but every time they release something I end up doing a discography run
I think OK Human is better but Van Weezer was exactly what I was in the mood for from Weezer, I played it a ton more
They were also my number 1, with All My Favorite Songs being my most played song. Also seemed odd to me, considering I haven't listened to Weezer since the Summer. But I guess I spun OK Human and VW a ton
Weezer sneaked in as my #5 artist of the year on Spotify wrapped. Spotify definitely stops counting data around the start of November, because on my Last.FM, The Beatles are my #5 artist, slightly edging out Weezer. Which makes sense as I've been on a Beatles kick just this last month.
Outside of a couple highlights (Aloo Gobi and Bird), I honestly think Van Weezer has better songs. Though probably the worst couple, too.
I think my top 6 are from OK and my bottom 6 are from Van. I honestly like every song on both though.
