Oh yeah 1000%, that's what I mean by "but the new setlist additions were bad."

 

I once saw Patrick in Target right after his solo album came out and said “love your new record” and he said “you and me both” and walked away haha

 

I like Mania and some of Save Rock and Roll, but this is absolutely facts. Still better than new Panic tho.

 

I find Save Rock and Roll one of the most ironic album titles ever.

 

Oh absolutely. I honestly wouldn't have gotten into them much at all if my girlfriend wasn't so big into them. Even now I only linger on the first four.

 

Because they became one of the biggest musical acts in the world after releasing it and certainly the biggest rock act?

 

I wouldn't call them rock. At least not since their hiatus.

Yea “I Bleed” basically birthed Weezer

 

I always assumed that was the point of the title...?

 

Mania and SR&R are better than every FOB album except for Folie

Maybe a controversial take, and I am a massive Pixies fan and definitely give them significant credit for the Weezer sound, but at least as far as the not embarrassing parts of their careers go I'm saying Weezer > Pixies. I'll go a step further and say whichever is second of tba/pinkerton is a fair bit better than anything that isn't Doolittle.

 

I thought this came out today and was looking forward to check it out after having a super uncomfortable/confrontational work conversation I'm stressing out to have today.
