lol translation: "The USA is letting COVID run wild anyway and plenty of you are vaccinated so why not tour?"
i really want to see weezer live, i kinda want to see green day live, i don’t want to see fall out boy live, and i really don’t want to go to a baseball stadium
would love to see all 4 bands (The Interrupters are fucking great), but it still feels like a stadium tour isn't two months away :/
I saw Fall Out Boy a few years ago and they were good but afterwards I felt like, “Okay, I saw them live, I’m satisfied now and I don’t necessarily need to see them again anytime soon”. I’ve never seen Green Day live but I’ve heard their live shows as of recent aren’t great? Could be wrong about that.
Considering Green Day would still be touring on Father Of All, it's a no from me on wanting to see them live any time soon lol
I've only seen Green Day once (at the Pop Disaster Tour) and I absolutely loved it. Fall Out Boy is whatever. I saw Weezer with The Pixies a couple years ago, and that was fun. And it wasn't unti then that I realized that Weezer is just Pixies-lite, haha.
I've seen Green Day 5 times, the first being at Warped Tour right before Warning was released. I most recently saw them on the Rev Radio tour and they still put on a great show in my opinion.
My first concert ever was Green Day with Jimmy Eat World and Against Me! in 2005. I used to be obsessed with Green Day as a teenager. I wouldn't go to see them in support of Father of All if the ticket was free lol
I haven't seen FOB since 2009, which is also the last time they put music out that I actually enjoyed. Never been a big fan of Green Day either. BUT I'm craving live music, Weezer's been on a roll, and I'm sure GD and FOB put on an entertaining show. If this tour actually happens consider me there.
My guess is their set would be made up of most of their hits/usual songs and maybe 2-3 songs at most off Father of All
the FOAM songs are so short that you're looking at like, 5 minutes of material from that album max , it'll be fine
I've seen Green Day 3 times, the most recent in 2017 and they put on some of the best shows I've ever been to.
I wonder if the Toronto show is happening. I want to see all three bands really bad but there's no way I'll be able to get vaccinated before August.
Them playing all the FOAM songs they want still wouldn't be as much time as it takes them to get through "Wake Me Up When September Ends" YAWWWWWWWWN
