Songs I still go back to on Raditutde: If You're Wondering Can't Stop Partying (guilty pleasure, although I much prefer Rivers solo acoustic rendition far more) Put Me Back Together I Don't Want to Let You Go Prettiest Girl That's it.
I think I go back to more songs on Raditude than I do on Hurley. Honestly, the only song I truly love on Hurley is Unspoken (imo, a Weezer classic). Other than that, I don't care for it at all. That said, the lows on Raditude, are far worse than the lows on Hurley.
Are they? Love Is the Answer and Can't Stop Partying are not that much worse than Smart Girls or Brave New World or Where's My Sex imo haha
Disagree, but that's okay. No single Weezer album is going to be a 10/10 for fans except Blue. That's almost the beauty of the band.
Sorry, I mean the packaging of the CD! Very bare bones, even for a band that historically doesn't have lyrics in their booklets
LOL I found a review of Raditude that I wrote for the newspaper that I worked for in 2009. The News-Herald Blogs: Tuned in to Pop Culture: Weezer: Raditude Think I did one for Hurley too, I'll try and find it.
God, if I could have a conversation with any living songwriter, I think it would be Rivers. There's just so much mythology behind this band. His brain fascinates me.
I first saw Weezer in 2010 and Pat played guitar for most of the set. Rivers barely played guitar at all
They went through a phase during Rad/Hurley where Rivers wanted to jump around on trampolines instead of play guitar, so Pat picked up lead guitar and Josh Freese became this weird unofficial fifth member on drums.
