and wow, was mentally resigned to this album being some basic rock cliches lyrically, but damn it sounds surprisingly heartfelt

Wow did not actually expect to be listening to a new Weezer album in 9 days, this is an uncharacteristically lowkey drop for them if it's actually coming out

 

I'd be surprised at this point honestly

 

Probably the same thing happened as Notes, where it's getting pushed back but some review copies are out there.

Would love to be wrong though!

This is cool! I don’t think this record is going to be exactly my cup of tea. But I’m really excited because I think a lot of people are gonna really respond to it. Good for Weezer. The chorus is nice. Can’t wait for OK Human.


Edit: for the record I like this song more than End of the Game, which I also like. This is really solid Weezer. Rivers is so dynamic.

sounds like one of the middle of the road songs on Hurley tbh. not bad, not particularly good either. End of the Game is way better
