Hate: Make Believe, Hurley, Ratitude, Teal



Red has some stellar songs tho.

 

Red has a few amazing songs but my hot take is that it's their worst album

Hold on. Do you like this band? Because if you do and yet you haven't bothered to listen to Blue...

 

Also Raditude sucks but (If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To is in my top five Weezer songs.

 

yeah that's such a banger, the acoustic duet is even better

 

There are still physical preorder ads running for this saying that it's out next month

 

I'm really hoping it's still coming out but the fact that we haven't gotten another, like, two singles since September is making me think it's going to get delayed last second. Like, they've been releasing so many singles for their last few records pre-release and this time we only have one? Doesn't bode well to me.

They definitely had one song written when they announced and Hella Mega is the only reason we got an album announcement

 

Remember when they announced this and they said it might get pushed UP?

 

Considering they were recording strings for OK Human at Abby Road, I don't have a hard time believing this album was finished or close to it.

 

Oh they are for sure only waiting this long between album releases because their label is making them. Rivers probably has the next three albums already planned out.

 

Rivers confirmed in the Zoom chat tonight that Van Weezer was mastered yesterday and they're still finalizing the tracklist with some potential last minute changes.

He confirmed a Homie song w (1997)be on there and a bonus track that was written in 1992.

 

He also said Ok Human is 75 percent done.. but probably won't be out till next year so people can digest one album

 

the homie song has to be hot tub or fun time, they're really the only songs from that project that could fit the whole Van Weezer theme.

the 1992 song is either Paperface or some long lost song we've never heard

 

if we get "Paperface" after all this fucking time hahahh
