don't they use a voting system between the four of them to decide what gets onto and left off an album? that's what I was mainly referring to. took a majority vote to leave "Pig" off your album for "Everybody Get Dangerous" (one of many examples)
I thought it was funny that Sugar Ray recorded and released it first and then Weezer decided to release their version too. Neither one was remotely good.
Maladroit kinda makes me crazy cuz i love a lot of it and then Space Rock, Possibilities and Love Explosion are like nails on a chalkboard. I love this song And I wish stuff like Acapulco, Your Room, Cygnus was on it
i don't like it, but i dislike like it less than the other two, Space Rock especially is a big ol head scratcher fer me love explosion...all i hear is "come on come on do the locomotion with me!" i love the locomotion though. go figure
The behavior presented in No One Else isn't intended to be seen in a positive light. Rivers describes the song as "the jealous-obsessive asshole in me freaking out on my girlfriend," and "'The World Has Turned and Left Me Here' is the same asshole wondering why she's gone."
the intro solo of Possibilities is probably my pick for "worst moment in the weezer discography". Thankfully there's demo versions that completely omit the solo, because the rest of the song bops
The solo at 1:15 on Love Explosion is so damn good. And I swear the drums sound better on this album than most every other album out there. They’re perfectly crisp.
Love the drum sounds love the guitar tones love the shred It’s such a drag Green sounds the way it does, Tom Lord Alge’s mixes from 2001ish all sound kinda fucked to me. Weird mid rangey schmeer
This is hyperbole to the highest degree when 2005-2010 Weezer presents so much competition haha Such as the second Love Is The Answer begins. Or when In The Mall begins. Or Where's My Sex... You get the picture lol
the worst weezer album songs (i'm discounting death to false metal here) are Love is the Answer and My Best Friend. The Prince Who Wanted Everything will probably be up there with time
hurley is mostly heaters tbh, probably the strongest album of their middle period if you can discount the absolutely abysmal lyrics of smart girls and where's my sex
