I was 10 the first time I heard Beverly Hills so it didn’t strike me in any particular way tbh

 

I will still defend Beverly Hills to this day. Not their greatest single, but it always struck me as the perfect representation of Weezer. The song is so cheesy, the guitar riff is so basic, yet there's something about it coming from Weezer that just makes it charming. No other band could write a song like that and have success with it.

 

Yeah, I don't hate Beverly Hills at all and it was also my intro to Weezer

 

Beverly Hills is way more quintessentially Rivers than people are willing to admit

 

I have plenty of memories yelling Beverly Hills obnoxiously out of my car windows w friends. Can’t ever hate that song.

 

I have memories of listening to Everybody Get Dangerous when I went joyriding but that song sucks ass haha

 

That song is...truly the worst.
