Honestly, $250 is about what I expected, but I already own all the Weezer albums worth owning

 

Boxset is sweet but I can resist. At least they said new Weezer this year

 

I only own Blue so I’m kind of considering it

I think I would have been more interested in that SZNZ box set that got scrapped than this.

 

My buddy pointed out that the markers are in order of release, and if that continues this is a clue that the next one is orange

 

Make it Orange Dreamsicle, for the Weezer album that reminds us of childhood.

 

Also, does this really mean we'll get a Biege Album before we get a Purple Album?

Looked up "anime about lawyers", result was Ace Attorney. This may be a niche that needs filling.

 

Looking at their Spotify stats, Go Away is having a moment right now with half a million daily streams, edging out Island in the Sun for #1. Looking further down the list, Tragic Girl is at #11 and Lonely Girl is at #14, both ahead of songs like My Name is Jonas and Pork and Beans.

I assume this is somehow TikTok related but I am struck by the true randomness of which songs they pick up. It’s like they’re throwing darts or something.

 

Yeah can anyone explain to me why that one has gotten a weird boost in popularity? I will also assume TikTok, but that’s not a song I was expecting to break out…
