Ugh. I forgot about the Teal album and with good reason.

 

I think at the very least we can all admit the Unbreak My Heart cover is better than any cover from the Teal Album

 

Teal is fine, just doesn't really do anything interesting with the songs besides No Scrubs. Though I do like their Take On Me version. I have a little playlist with their cover, Reel Big Fish's cover and a couple of the acoustic versions of that song

I never wanna hear Africa again though that's for sure lol

 

Not wrong. Only song from Death worth anything

 

I totally forgot how huge that Africa cover got, fucking bizarre

 

That’s my problem with it: It’s pretty much all straight-forward, bar-band quality covers of popular songs. It’s so bland.

 

most annoying thing about that Africa cover getting huge is that the Rosanna one they dropped like a week before was so much better

 

They shouldn't have wasted a color on that album lol

The Teal era was when they were playing 4 covers in less than 20 song sets. Terrible

 

That's true, but I also saw them during that era and still had a blast so what can ya do

 

if he doesn’t include the Green era B-sides, not interested

you have to pay $20 to remove Teal

 

They were playing it like every hour on KROQ back in 2018/19. It was funny at first but good old real quick

I always felt an immense moment of dread when I heard the intro…

I’m not a fan of half of the records in this box set but I’ll pay for them if that’s what I have to do to get the other 3 records I already own.

I bought the markers and the coloring book and I have zero regrets
