The Purple Album (it’s all Prince covers)

 

It’s going to be called …And Then You Die and it will be a spiritual sequel to Everything Will Be Alright in the End. Think more rock and alternative with pop sensibilities but no out and out pop songs. Lyrically, it will be a bit more serious but there will be one song called Picking Up Eggs where, in the bridge, Rivers sing-raps about doing an easter egg hunt and the bass sounds like a Korn song for some reason.

 

The reason is because Fieldy is guesting on the track.

 

Ryen from Ozma + Fieldy + Rivers co-write would be incredible.

I've been holding out for a Purpleton for like 20 years.

 

We’ll never get a white album tour and that bums me out beyond belief

I was so pissed that earlier on the tour for that album they were playing that song but by the time it got to my date it was swapped out for “I love the USA”

 

I’d have at least half the white album in my ideal weezer set.

Interesting. Weezer is doing a three-guitar getup this tour. I thought they’d pull a Ratitude and Rivers would just do vocals

 

Or they'd kick out the guy with allegations but I guess not
