The real anniversary we should be talking about. My sixth favorite Weezer album.

 

Had no idea Make Believe had the same birthday as the Blue album. That's some absolute nerve on Weezer's part

 

Impressive they sounded so good on the mulaney show with so few amps

Also have we found mulaneys chorus burner yet…Weezer, Joyce manor, the old punks skit, etc etc

edit: also was friends with Albini

 

Sure seemed like he did based on how stoked he was

 

The good life’s probably my favorite weezer song

I was just listening to Run Raven Run and I actually think the bridge of that song is one of the coolest moments in their discography

 

This is the longest we’ve gone without new music from this band since 2014. I am physically ill.

Yeah, it was super cool! I still have two different tour shirts (The Enlightenment Tour) from the show.

I wasn't familiar with D/C yet but I am pretty sure it was just Chris playing at the time.

 

I went to that tour in 2002. Funniest moment was there was a guy with a t-shirt that read "Fuck you, I like the Green album!"

 

Ha I was at this exact show! My first time ever hearing Dashboard, fell in love instantly. I also vividly remember when El Scorcho kicked in Pat's drums rose above a giant W and my mind was blown.

 

I, too, saw that tour at Blossom in the Cleveland area in 2002. That was my second time seeing Weezer.

 

Flames shot out the sides of the W too! There's a lot of good AUD recordings for audio and video of these shows. I have 7/24/02 Jones Beach somewhere on MP3.
