I'm convinced I'll never see Weezer live again. Every time they come to Cleveland area, they play the absolute worst venue that I haven't been to in 11 years and swore I'd never go again. This time they're coming to Columbus...on the day of my son's birthday - so that's out. (texted my wife saying what a great way to celebrate his birthday and received a hard 'no' back)
It’s funny because their standard set lists already have like 70% of the blue album in there. They might as well call this the Voyage to the No One Else/The World Has Turned and Left Me Here/Holiday Planet Tour
He actually does like Weezer. He’ll be turning 10 and every night he goes to bed listening to either Weezer, The Gaslight Anthem, Zach Bryan, The Lumineers or Noah Kahan. He would go in a heartbeat. It’s my wife I have to convince. She hates concerts - and I typically go to shows solo…and it doesn’t help we are 2 1/2 hours away from Columbus.
Divorce her, work out the custody rights so that either you have him on his birthday and can do what you please or your (ex)wife has him and has the responsibility to celebrate it leaving you free to hear Surf Wax America. I'm just an idea guy, just throwing out options.
dragging my wife to the orlando date no way i’m missing dinosaur jr as support for a blue album anniversary tour
