I don’t either it just sounded cool

 

SZNZ is bad but I like a couple songs. Believe it or not, A Little Bit of Love is one of them. I've had I Want a Dog stuck in my head recently.

 

Van Weezer is so good

 

It's aight. Hurley vibes but better. OK Human is the better of the two pretty easily imo

OK Human is one of my favorite albums of theirs in general. Top 5 for sure.

Van Weezer is preferable to Maladroit which is kind of its spiritual prequel.

 

VW has End of the Game, which is Top 5 Weezer songs of the last decade probably. OKC has ummmm uhhh.... songs, I guess

 

if only any other song there was remotely as good as End of the Game. helluva choice to put it out two years before the rest lol

 

Hahaha, yeah that part of it is pretty funny

 

They’re both good. OKH obviously aims higher and doesn’t have a completely misguided Crazy Train cover halfway through, but otherwise I genuinely like the songs from VW more. And agreed with Phil it’s much closer to a spiritual successor to Maladroit than Hurley.

OK Human has "Aloo Gobi," "Numbers," "La Brea Tar Pits..."

All My Favorite Songs is a top-tier Weezer single

 

Those songs are great, but so are End of the Game, Need Some of That, Sheila…they’re way closer to each other in a head to head of good songs imo, OKH just has a more impressive coat of paint.

 

I like Van Weezer a lot but it is no Maladroit

Every time I hear it on the radio it’s the fucking AJR version and it makes me so mad haha
