i used to go to the Palladium regularly when I was younger but haven't seen a show outdoors. I think they just set up a stage in the parking lot Was going to buy a ticket, mostly for Joyce Manor, but decided against it once I saw the price
$75 seemed kind of steep to me but I guess not that crazy for an outdoor amphitheater type show in 2023. I’m pumped!
Honestly was surprised at the prices, was expecting higher costs. I bet if it was on ticketmaster we'd all be pissed right now
That'd be cool to have Aloo Gobi in the set. Bummed about no Van Weezer, surprised there's a Maladroit song but I want more! Also weird that their only doing 1 song from their new album...and it's Run Raven Run? Wasn't Records a big hit on the radio?
Even when I wish they would shake it up, I wind up looking at a Greatest Hits set and thinking yeah, those are mostly really fucking good songs.
I haven’t seen 6 of the standard set and 9 with the swaps. Pretty damn good for a band I’ve seen 7 times already
White Album standing in the on-deck circle. Very glad i went to that Weezer x Panic! tour back in 2016 because those songs are all rarities at his point.
Weezer playing less than 20 songs 30 years into their career with a dozen albums under their belt is criminal.
I know they’ve never played much from their good more recent rock albums so it’s not a surprise but it stings every time they unveil a tour set list and there’s 1-2 songs combined from EWBAITE and White Album.
As someone who has never been to a concert for them it seems like a great setlist to me. I could pick and choose some others I'd for sure have liked instead but seems like a pretty solid setlist to me. Also psyched about Joyce Manor being the opener and I've already seen them a bunch
As a band with 15 (!) albums and like 20 charting singles, I've got to accept that a bulk of their setlist is gonna be looking the same every time and a lot of their catalog will get ignored. But as someone who's seen Weezer 10 times over the past 20 years, there's really no point for me to keep going to these big tours. I'm holding out hope that they'll do another Memories type tour one day.
Exact reason I choseto make the drive to Pittsburgh over the drive to Canandaigua. All GA in Pitt, $55+ fees.
Big Weezer kick today. Started with Van Weezer and went backwards, skipped Black and PD, will probably pick up with Make Believe after I finish EWBAITE
Finally doing a Weezer pod with my bandmates (specifically Brian, who knows nothing about Weezer). Gonna be a trip!
I’ve seen them twice and both times they didn’t play anything from after Raditude so I will take literally anything from the past decade at this point
I'm really excited for this show. I've only seen them twice but it was the Weezer/Panic tour and Hella Mega so I've never seen them on THEIR tour. That setlist seems pretty great to me, as long as they keep The Good Life and not as a part of a medley
