Gonna fully listen to all of these now since I have some time to kill, thinking I'll probably enjoy a decent amount of it
Starting Summer, Spring was okay but there's nothing really that I'd listen to again. Starting to think I'll be in the minority here because so far the two songs I've enjoyed the most are A Little Bit of Love and Records lmao The lyrics on this, so far, are dumb and lame even for Rivers Edit: Okay, so far after Summer those two songs are the only ones I'd consider going back to again. Opening track of Autumn is better than the last two EPs combined
Just finished. I am glad people can find enjoyment in these songs, but I am disappointed to say that although none of this was outright bad, there's only a handful of songs I'd want to listen to again in the future. I made a playlist of the ones I liked the most. This isn't really in the order I like them (I think Can't Dance and The Opposite of Me are the two best tracks from these albums) but just an order I thought sounded nice. Can't Dance, Don't Ask Me Records A Little Bit of Love The Opposite of Me What Happens After You? Francesca I Want a Dog Run, Raven, Run
Finished my play through. Winter is the best of the four and it's not even close. I'd probably now rank them in reverse chronological order. But Spring, Summer and Autumn really are just 1 good song each with a whole bunch of b sides. My 12 song playlist: Can't Dance, Don't Ask Me Iambic Pentameter Records Basketball A Little Bit of Love I Want a Dog Dark Enough to See the Stars Blue Like Jazz The One That Got Away Wild at Heart Run Raven, Run The Deep and Dreamless Sleep
I'd go: Autumn, Winter, Spring...Summer Honestly, if you combined Autumn and Winter and maybe took off a few tracks, you have a very solid album. Spring for the most part is passable too. Summer is...pretty bad. I couldn't narrow it down to a 10 or 12 song tracklist but I'd say for me, Angels on Vacation and Get Off on the Pain are very easily the two best songs released on the project.
Yeah after several listens this one has grown on me. Don’t love Basketball or The One That Got Away but they’re decent
Spring is by far my least favorite, while also being the one that I feel best captures the vibe of its season.
Spring > Winter > Summer > Autumn But they are all high-quality Weez to me. I think these will age very well within their discography.
I finished Autumn. I think it's on par with Summer, both are better than Spring. Spring is okay, but it's also kind of boring.
The guitar work on Winter is so damn good. That bridge in Iambic Pentameter reminds me so much of the Futerscope Trilogy.
Summer is the only one I don’t remember anything about, but I still think I liked it more than Spring.
I listened to it all yesterday, and listening to Spring for the first time in a while made me realize that it has this quality the others just don't have. The songs are awesome, but it has a really unique atmosphere that the others really don't (except maybe Winter)
I listened to all four, and I actually might like Summer the most as a complete piece. The others have songs I like, but Summer has the most songs that I like.
