I'm sure a lot of people feel that way. I don't love the lyrics on either song but I think Black is largely an album about doing what you want despite disappointing your fans and in that sense, the part about Judas really works for me. I like that song (and album) more than most.
I... kind of want to participate in the opener/closer one Openers: My Name is Jonas Tired of Sex I Want You To California Kids All My Favorite Songs Memories Don't Let Go American Gigolo Ain't Got Nobody Hero Mexican Fender Troublemaker Beverly Hills Can't Knock the Hustle Closers: Only in Dreams Butterfly Futurescope Trilogy The Angel and the One December Endless Bummer La Brea Tar Pits O Girlfriend I Don't Want to Let You Go Any Friend of Diane's Haunt You Every Day Precious Metal Girl Time Flies California Snow This kind of just made me realize that outside of the top four their closers are pretty consistently some of the songs I return to the least on their respective albums
Can we rank rankings? 1. Top 10 songs 2. Closers 3. Openers 4. Era 5. Alphabetical 6. Random 7. Discography
would be pretty cool if the producer they haven’t worked with that collabs with jake and suzy on winter was rob schnapf. they keep saying it’s the elliott smith one and rob worked with elliott a ton. also kinda wild to me he hasn’t worked with weezer before would love john congleton on one of the others too. catherine marks maybe. get creative!
So instead we’ll get a 28 song album? Actually I shouldn’t be surprised that they’ll find a way to whittle this down to a 10 song 31-minute album
