I watched that bit and genuinely could not tell if Rivers was joking or not lol

  6. Wait why is a 12 year old Weezer song so popular now?

Very interesting song, super crunchy and rockin, kinda missing some melody to grab onto though

Not bad. Definitely just keeps me thinking this album will feel Maladroit-ish which would be good obv

Just gave it a listen and it’s interesting for sure. It’s cool. I agree it’s very Maladroit-esque. Interesting choice for the lead single too. Curious to see what the rest of the album sounds like

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

bit repetitive but I like it. best production they've had in a minute

The song is kinda missing something melodically for sure, but it’s a big step in the right direction for me and the second half of the verses (or is that the prechorus?) is great.

That said, and I’m not trying to stir anything up, but whatever happened with the Brian Bell allegations?

Not a particularly good song but the guitar sound has certainly piqued my interest

  14. I don't think they ever really gained steam outside of Twitter, unfortunately.

The general response to the allegations was that they built up "sexual misconduct" and "grooming" but when the "evidence" was released, there was very little pointing to either of those. One of the included alterations is that he ignored a girl at a meet and greet, for example.

I'm not going to give opinions either way because I think each person should be reading themselves and making their own conclusions:

Wow, I’m very much into this new song. Production is great too.

Was reading some of the Reddit comments….did Pat’s wife pass away recently? I had no idea, that’s awful to hear.

I only knew Scott divorced his wife after that bizarre police shootout thing

According to Google, Pat’s wife passed away from cancer 12 years ago.

I really wanna convince my bandmates of my cover band to do a double covers set of Pinkerton / White Album for their respective 30 / 10 year anniversaries.

  23. Song is good, don't care that it's missing a strong verse melody because it's different than anything done for a minute and the guitar tones are there. Pretty much all I can ask for from them at this point lol

apparently Kenny is a co-producer/engineer on this, he listened to White to get an idea of what they wanted and they recorded everything straight to tape for this album. they definitely have my attention

  25. Yeah I saw a bunch of Discord posts from him where he talked about the song being a good representation of where their heads were at, but also that there is a lot of speculation fans are wrong about and confirming that no one knows the tracklist lol. Also sounds like Rivers met Cameron Winter at the studio and just said "...Geezer" lmao
