White Album was my first review for this site after the switch to Chorus...I remember being shocked I got the advance in my email and rocking the fuck out of it with my college roommate. Great memories

 

I remember being very pleasantly surprised by the album after really hating Thank God For Girls.

 

Best non-blue album imo

 

And then even that one grew on me, lol

 

White is my favorite Weezer album, not sorry about it.

 

Yeah I loved white when it came out and it was the soundtrack to my spring/summer 2016. That co-headliner they did with Panic! was my first time seeing them. Caught the Santa Barbara Bowl show. Great times. Lots of great memories of that summer

 

White is pretty solidly my sixth favorite

Van Weezer did nothing for me. I like Pacific Daydream, Black Album and OK Human way more than Van Weezer...is that a hot =w= take?

 

I don’t get a sick thrill from listening to bad Weezer so I rank the inoffensive, boring, potential-squandering Van Weezer higher than Black and PD.

 

A few arenas teasing with the 3/26 sketches on IG. Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, and Grand Casino Arena in Saint Paul so far.

I like Van Weezer a lot but the song with the Crazy Train interpolation makes me irrationally angry. The melody just sounds off key to me and hurts my ears

 

I think Van Weezer is just okay. I honestly would’ve liked it more if they didn’t lean super hard into the 80’s hair metal gimmick.

It did make for a fun stage show on the Hella Mega Tour tho

 

I think it should have actually committed to the 80s metal/Van Halen guitars gimmick of the singles. A lot of the tracks were like cheesy power pop/AOR songs and then Hero which is like a mediocre c-side for a video game or random soundtrack.
