Wow Rivers is kind of a hypocrite: which is it memories or move on?

Maladroit is definitely solid. Hurley has a few good tracks, but nothing more, haha. I even have nostalgia attached to Raditude and Hurley and I'm pretty sour on them.

yea, its a really bad record. but I'm glad you enjoy it. Make Believe/Hurley/Raditude in some order are the worst things they have done.

Green Album is ok, but "Island in the Sun" is worth more than all records listed above. Its also bolstered by the mythology surrounding the band at the time. It was such a hard right turn after Pinkerton that I can't help but find it compelling, and its essential to their story.

Blue and Pinkerton are rock canon, and two of my personal favorite records of all time, Ive never heard someone say they would skip a single song on Blue. So thats a first.

Maladroit/White/EWBAITE are all solid albums with a handful of really good songs each.

Red is weird enough for me to appreciate it, even if there are more misses than hits.

My top 10 weezer tracks are:

    Tired of Sex
    Getchoo
    No Other One
    Why Bother?
    Across the Sea
    The Good Life
    El Scorcho
    Pink Triangle
    Falling for You
    Butterfly

    In no order.

  11. Hurley is bottom three imo. It's a weird album that isn't so much "bad" as it is really uninteresting and feels like a bridge between the ultra-shiny Raditude-Weezer and recent Weezer renaissance. Rivers was on autopilot for a lot of those lyrics, and the quality of these past two albums has just totally overshadowed most (if not all) of it. About half of that album is good, but "Where's My Sex?," "Smart Girls" and "Brave New World" are all really, really bad.

Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'll go to bat for Make Believe before the Red Album.

White Album and Everything Will Be Alright In The End were their best albums in years. Not to until these two new songs yet but still interested in what the rest of the album is like.

It's funny, because at the time I remember listening to Hurley and enjoying it much, much more than Raditude, but EWBAITE have definitely put it in a different context.

EWBAITE has like 2 good songs on it and that is my worst Weezer opinion. So many people love it and say it was such a return to form, but I like it about as much as Hurley and Raditude.

Blue, Pinkerton, and White are the only good Weezer albums all the way through. Luckily those are perfect albums, which makes them one of my favorite bands.

I think that White is better. What songs do you like from it?

White is a 10/10 album for me.

I liked Cleopatra and Lonely Girl, and have an affinity for Go Away because of Bethany.
