It's 100% their most underrated and overlooked record, likely the best guitar riffs of any Weezer release
I like Feels Like Summer but I definitely hope it's the worst song on the album (if it's on it, which I think it will be)
I like it! Final album art is cool too. Feels Like Summer is on there too, it's basically unchanged from the original version. Production sounds a little different but if you didn't like the original version you're still not going to like it. I actually like the song, but hey, that's just me. Looking forward to the rest of the album!
Yeah, I like the song; it's track 1 and "Feels Like Summer" is track 3. My only complaint is that these are strange songs for an album being released at the end of October. Here's the album artwork for anyone interested:
After a couple listens, I definitely prefer Mexican Fender to Feels Like Summer and the bridge/final chorus are great but the verses are atrocious
Yeah this in no way sounds like a Fall album. I guess they really felt like they had to go back in and get the songs/production re-worked, because it seemed like it was originally coming in, like, June, right? I mean, the lead single is literally called "Feels Like Summer." Suppose they didn't want to sit on the album for a year though, which makes sense. Especially if they plan on putting out another album next year. Go for four in a row. But who knows. Again, I'm looking forward to hearing this.
I thought the song was fun, which is basically all I expect from Weezer. I thought the verses were fine, but I didn't listen close to the lyrics. Is that the issue?
