Let It All Hang Out is awesome !!! Raditude is underrated. Of course the lyrics are dumb, but the songs are catchy.
If I had to pick between listening to that Owl City song that just came out and In The Mall, I'd have to think for a minute
My theory on Hurley is basically that at the time of release, it was the best thing we had heard from them in almost a decade, but every album since has been even better and over time it's naturally settled as a very typical, middle-of-the-road post-2002 Weezer album.
Perfect Situation This Is Such A Pity The Damage In Your Heart The Greatest Man That Ever Lived Pork And Beans The Angel And The One King If You're Wondering Put Me Back Together Tripping Down The Freeway Memories Ruling Me Trainwrecks Unspoken Run Away Hang On Finally made a playlist from those 4 albums of songs that I at least really like. I might take 3 more from Make Believe/Red (the other red bonus songs are good enough) and 1 more from the other 2 and just make two 10 song albums
At this point I can’t separate Red from its BSides and that’s why it is so much better than quite a few of their other albums in my mind. Weird thing but can’t help it, those B Sides are genuinely some of the best Weezer songs since the golden era.
I think combining Raditude and Hurley and omitting songs would've made a super solid 13 song record: 1.) Memories 2.) Ruling Me 3.) Trainwrecks 4.) Unspoken 5.) Run Away 6.) Hang On 7.) If You're Wondering.. 8.) I'm Your Daddy 9.) Girl Got Hot 10.) Put Me Back Together 11.) Tripping Down The Freeway 12.) Let It All Hang Out 13.) I Don't Want To Let You Go
