I was confused and for a second thought y'all meant Taylor's Red album, Rivers singing 22 would be hilarious
Blue Pinkerton White Maladroit EWBAITE Pacific Daydream Green Make Believe Hurley Red Raditude Just need to judge lasting value in the coming months but if I keep enjoying it as much as I am now, this could move up to 4th or 3rd. Blue and Pinkerton are untouchable, but 3 through 7, there really isn't a lot of separation for me. Weezer's discography looks so much better after the last 3 albums
Green has honestly never really made an impression on me at all. I enjoy it when it's on but besides a few songs I pretty much never think about it or remember how most of it goes
this seriously blows my mind, but i guess I feel similarly about Pinkerton being ever so slightly overrated due to its impact on emo music (even though it's still their second best album)
I feel like Green is the best example of Weezer writing straight-up pop songs, it's a super solid record, I'd still take Maladroit over it though
I'll bite Pinkerton Blue EWBAITE White Pacific Daydream Maladroit Red (if counting bonus. If not, drop a spot) Green Make Believe Raditude Hurley I agree that I feel much better about their overall discography with the latest 3 albums. Pinkerton + Blue are classics and there's tons of gems throughout the others but now they have multiple albums I love all the way through
Raditude totally has some big ol stinkers, but I think there are still plenty of songs that stand up in the Weezer discog. I fully back Wondering, Daddy, Girl Got Hot, Put Me Back and Tripping
Every time I see the title The Girl Got Hot, I think I don't like it. Then i listen to the song and it's pretty great, ha
Wondering, Put Me Back Together and I Don't want to let you go are really the only redeemable tracks for me on Raditude. Prettiest Girl too (if you count bonus tracks). I honestly don't mind Can't Stop Partying (although I prefer the acoustic). Kind of a guilty pleasure for me.
